What Happens When Medication Doesn’t Work?

From “The Healing Show” Series #03: Finding Deeper Causes to Health Issues

We’ve all been sick before. When you’re little, your parents or guardians looked after you, maybe took you to see somebody who could help you get better. As an adult, you do the same for yourself: you may seek a natural therapist or you might seek a conventional therapist, maybe at the doctor’c clinic.

When you see a doctor, they generally give you a prescription for pills to help you get better. You take the pills and generally they work, but sometimes they don’t work. What’s going on…? Why don’t the pills work sometimes? The explanation I’m going to give, is purely from a metaphysical, energetic and spiritual point of view, and not from a medical or scientific point of view.

Understanding that our health is determined by own our thoughts and feelings, and not by some accident of nature, can seem far-fetched. Hopefully this rings true, or perhaps from listening or reading some of my other material on the subject, you might believe that is possible.

Having negative thoughts and feelings isn’t necessarily your fault. Somebody could have triggered you to feel so angry or upset, that you get so stressed about it and get sick. While we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and feelings, we don’t deliberately go round seeking opportunities that will have a negative effect on us. Life happens. If we were all surrounded by positive people and positive circumstances all the time, then most of us would be in good health!

As it is the case that positive thoughts and feelings create good health, and negative thoughts and feelings create ill health, we end up seeking the help of a health professional when we have become negative somehow.

Sometimes seeing a natural therapist isn’t possible, perhaps seeing a doctor is necessary. Doctors usually give you a script for medication to help you heal. But what if you don’t heal…? Here are several scenarios to explain why you don’t heal from medication:

  1. When you have negative thoughts and feelings, you create ‘bad’ chemicals in your body, that manifest as ill health. Medication is also chemicals. If the chemicals you take in the form of pills, override the bad chemicals in your body, then you are likely to heal and get on with your life.
  2. If you take pills to help you heal and they work, all well and good. But if you get sick again, you generally blame the pills for not working. What’s really happened is that your negative thoughts and feelings have returned, therefore you need to take the pills again. To be clear, if your negative thoughts and feelings didn’t return, you wouldn’t need to take pills again. But if they do return, you need the pills again. It’s you that’s doing it.
  3. If your negative thoughts and feelings change, then the pills you were taking won’t work as well, or they won’t work anymore. You will need new pills to address your new or altered negative thoughts and feelings.
  4. If your negative thoughts and feelings are there every day because your issues are not resolved, then you might need pills everyday to help you go on. Whether you know what your issues are or not, the fact remains that if your issues are not resolved, then you are likely to be ill, to some extent, every day.
  5. If your negative thoughts and feelings get stronger, then the pills you take will need to be increased in frequency and or strength. Again, if your negative thoughts and feelings were not getting stronger, then you would not need to take more or stronger pills. You could stay on the ones you were on.If you’re boiling over with unresolved issues that you require stronger medication to keep the lid on things.
  6. The worst case scenario (it’s not actually the worst, but it can seem that way) is when medication doesn’t work, it can’t help our pain or ill health. Your negative thoughts and feelings have got too strong. Your own bad chemicals have got too strong and are now overriding the strength of (the external chemicals) the pills you’re taking.

At this point, you might think ‘”oh no… I’m going to be sick forever… what will become of me…?”.

We all need reminding:
We are POWERFUL enough to CREATE a health issue, therefore, we are powerful enough to CORRECT it, or UNDO it and we need to remember this for life.

Your ill health is because your thoughts and feelings have become negative. You need help to address that. Ideally, energetic healers and spiritual counsellors will help you to uncover what’s causing your energy to be negative. If it’s not possible to see such practitioners, then you need to do all in your power to eat healthy and be happy.

You need to talk to friends or family about why you might be angry and upset. You need to get support and have your feelings acknowledged. You need to seek places and or people and or activities that help you feel happy and light. The happier you are, the better your health will be.

When medication doesn’t work, you can heal your health, by addressing the negative thoughts and feelings you experience with people who truly support you.

What Is Self Healing?

From “The Healing Show” Series #3: Finding Deeper Causes to Health Issues.

Self Healing, energetically speaking, is taking responsibility for what is happening in your body, since you caused it.

You can Heal your Self in different ways, through energetic methods, diet, breathing, natural supplements and other natural approaches.

The unnatural approach, through antibiotics and surgery, won’t necessarily fix anything because the pattern in you that caused the need for unnatural action, is still there.

Self Healing is you looking inward for why you’re unwell, in terms of the emotional shifts that could be necessary in you to let go of, face and resolve something or somebody. This then leads to a physical experience to help conclude the emotional shift and inner development.

From Benita’s “Being Happier” Podcast

Series: Finding Deeper Causes To Health Issues – Part 5

Being Happier Podcast“Get Out Of The Way Of Your Healing!”

This message is about how healing occurs, in terms of the rate of healing and its dependence on the state of a person’s thoughts.

If somebody is recovering from an accident or operation, they are likely to have lots of thoughts about their recovery. Animals don’t have those thoughts about their recovery… I just want to make a sharp comparison that is most obvious in the example of a human recovering from an accident or operation as compared to an animal.

A dog recovering from a broken leg isn’t going to be thinking “will I recover from this accident? Will I be ok? Maybe I’m healing too slowly? Something more must be wrong with me… What if I get an infection? What if I can’t do x or y activity again?”. A human would be thinking the aforementioned thoughts, not animals. Yes animals have certain thoughts because they’re animals, and humans have certain thoughts because they’re humans. But what has that got to do with healing?

Animals don’t grow negative and morose like humans do. Humans destroy themselves with all sorts of thoughts about things that can go wrong, with everything, including their healing.

The rate of healing depends on how much a person allows it to occur, by just leaving the body to do its thing and not think about it. The rate of healing also depends on how negative or positive a person feels about it.

Get Out Of The Way Of Your Healing

If a person is feeling negative and sorry for themselves, their rate of healing is likely to be slower and more painful. If they’re feeling positive about their healing and if they allow their body to take care of things, they’re more likely to heal quicker and with less scarring and other complications.

Feeling sorry for ourselves is a big one. When a person goes into a ‘poor me’ frame of mind and being, it slows the healing down. A happy, positive frame of mind speeds up healing.

If a person is going to heal the best way possible, it would serve them to be like an animal is toward its healing. Animals let healing occur, they don’t think about it; they continue being their usual self; they don’t sit around feeling sorry for themselves or count how many callers they’ve had.

If a human is going to heal well or even speed up their healing, they need to get out of their own way. They need to have a positive outlook and control their negative thoughts and not buy into them.

Every thought a person has affects their body and their world in positive or negative ways. Let’s support ourselves with healing, positive thoughts for a quick recovery and a healthy body.

Physical Imbalances Caused By Emotional Pain: Judged Or Supported, Determined By Physical Expression

The first part of this article, I’ll talk about how emotional energy gets interpreted into physical illness. The second part of this article, I’ll talk about the manner in which you express your emotions, determine the form of the physical problem and how that gets received by others.

In Western society in particular, it’s almost an obsession to appear outwardly, physically flawless. There’s a fair amount of judgment aimed at your friend who has an external physical problem, but the internal physical problem for your relative is not seen, but they appear well presented and that’s all that counts…?

But what if your relative’s internal physical problem was expressed externally, how well presented would they look then? And would your friend with major skin issues really want to swap with your relative who’s experiencing back pain, because at least that way, nobody can see it? How about we get into all this in more detail…

When you have imbalanced physical energy, it can express itself internally or externally. Why am I calling it imbalanced physical energy and not a disease? Because any physical illness, ailment, pain, disorder or disease is =energy= that is =not balanced=.

Firstly, what drives your physical energy to be imbalanced in the first place? Physical energy becomes imbalanced when you’re suffering emotionally. You’re probably not an expert at expressing your emotional pain or anger in healthy ways, so your body is left to tell you that you have emotional pain, by showing physical imbalances.

When emotional pain is not acknowledged, felt or supported, it becomes unbalanced. Emotional energy that’s unbalanced can express itself in two main ways: emotionally, where the person has communication problems; and physically, where the person gets sick.

Physical imbalances can take a variety of forms. If your emotions tick x and y boxes, you’re likely to have z illness, if your emotions tick ‘a’ and ‘b’ boxes, you’re likely to have ‘c’ illness. Physical imbalances can also express themselves in your body in external ways that are seen, or internal ways that are unseen.

How is it that your friend’s physical energy imbalance cause a visible weight issue, skin problems and bruising; while for your relative, their physical energy imbalance cause unseen sleep problems, blood problems, head pain, backpain and other organ malfunctions?

You have to come back to your emotional state to explain what’s going on in your body. If you internalize your feelings, you’re more likely to express your physical imbalances internally, while if you externalize your feelings, you’re more likely to express your physical imbalances externally. Let’s examine this internalizing and externalizing of your feelings a little more.

If your physical appearance is very important to you, if you prefer to be well presented, polite to others and seem stable and reasonable to others, you’re more likely to internalize your feelings, and therefore manifest internal physical problems.

If you feel that it’s important for other people to know or notice what you feel and think, despite the circumstance or the company, you’re more likely to externalize your feelings and manifest external physical problems. This is just one angle to take on energy expression in the body.

Even as you read the above, you might see parts of yourself in both descriptions. You might be internal in certain circumstances and external in other circumstances. Perhaps you are not aware of how you might express your emotions, but your friends and relatives could shed some light there 😉

In some ways, it’s better out than in. Energetically, you’re better off having something physically wrong with you that you can see, because you just have to look at it to know how healed you might be.

If you have some internal problem that you can’t see, you can’t just pull out your organ to check the progress of its healing. You will probably have to submit yourself to a series of tests that may or may not find the problem, and the results of which may or may not be conclusive.

But you might think that your relative is better off because they can still look great in a dinner suit, because it’s better that you can’t tell that they’re unwell, with a tumor. You might think that your friend is worse off because their eczema problems help them look unattractive in their ball gown.

Are some physical imbalances preferrable to others? This can’t be chosen, but does your friend get judged more for their acne than your relative gets judged for their irritable bladder? Generally, your friend will get judged more, because their imbalance can be ‘seen’ as opposed to unseen… Is this fair?
`
How about if we reverse the scenario… what if the internal physical imbalance became external for everybody to see…? How attractive would your relative look in her swim suit, if she had her stomach ulcer on the outside of her body? How attractive would your relative look in his gym clothes, if he had his throat cancer visibly exposed?

External expressions of physical imbalances get blamed and the person who has it is bad somehow. Your friend’s overweight and you shouldn’t feel sorry for her, but your relative has gallstones but you should feel sorry for him?

If I draw your attention back to physical imbalances are caused by emotional pain, then your friend who overeats is experiencing emotional pain and your relative who has gallstones, is experiencing emotional pain. So why is your friend at fault for being overweight, but your relative is not at fault for having gall stones? Why is your friend criticized for being overweight, while your relative receives sympathy for his condition?

Internal physical imbalances are given sympathy, while external physical imbalances are judged. However, both external and internal expressions of physical imbalances are caused by emotional pain.

The emotional pain of your friend and relative, need to be considered equally. Your friend should not be criticized because she has an external physical imbalance that is seen, while your relative receives sympathy because he has an internal physical imbalance that is not seen.

Also, your relative only looks better in a swimsuit because her imbalance is internal, but what if it the same internal imbalance became externally expressed? How would your relative feel and be treated then?

Understand how emotional energy works, understand how physical energy works. Some expressions are seen, some are unseen, emotional pain can’t necessarily be judged or supported depending on how it is physically expressed.

Investigating The Health Records Of Your Soul

It can seem like one of the worst things in the world, a baby being born with a serious health problem or shortly developing one within a year or two of it’s life. What did they do to deserve it..? It’s so unfair..! An understandable and natural reaction. It can be a very distressing event for the family also because of all the extra work that needs to go into caring for the baby, often a very exhausting lifestyle. A regular healthy baby scenario has enough problems by itself.

With this subject, at least for the moment, we need to delved into the realms of the metaphysical, because the physical world with its answers, can feel highly unsatisfactory. We need to look at the history of the soul and it’s not just this lifetime that the baby’s soul is experiencing. No soul comes to earth with an entirely clean slate and nothing to work on- what would be the need of incarnating?

The ill baby from conception or very early in their life, is not the victim of bad luck or unfortunate circumstances, there are no accidents. That is a big concept to get across to some people but other people reading this, might fully comprehend it straight away, the fact that there are no accidents.

If we keep going with the idea that there are no accidents, the baby’s soul knows there are issues to work out in this lifetime, through being ill, as well as issues to sort out with the parents and vice versa.

The parents of the baby and the baby, have all known each other before in other lifetimes, whether the baby is healthy or not. In the event that the baby has a serious health problem, it reflects matters still unresolved from another life where the baby and parents in this life, knew each other before but in a different set of circumstances.

It is a general thing that there are issues to be resolved from previous lifetimes and they are not always resolved through illness. Some souls, some babies, some parents, choose to resolve their karmic issues through ill health and other souls choose to sort out their issues in other ways: financial and creative challenges as examples.

There is much more to be said on this matter, which I’ll address in future articles and recordings, but for the moment do keep your chin up if you or somebody else are experiencing problems of this nature, or if you are simply interested in this subject. There are many more satisfactory answers to explain how and why the ill health of the baby came to be. The discussion therein can be extremely confronting although definitely helpful and enlightening.

HEALTH – S03E02 – What Constipation Means Emotionally

The “Being Happier” Podcast

Today’s Topic: Finding Deeper Causes To Health Issues – Part 2

Being Happier PodcastConstipation. Why does it happen. What is the emotion driving it? There are always unhealthy emotions driving problems in your body. There is a strong energetic link between your feeling anxious about money and constipation, because… you’re not in the flow of life and you’re not trusting that things are actually ok or you’re not trusting that things will shortly be ok.

It’s the feelings that control what happens in your body, not the facts as such. The facts can say you don’t need to worry, but you are. The facts can say you should worry, but you’re not. If you’re =feeling= negative about your financial situation, you are likely to create that in your body in the form of constipation.

I give a little exercise to help you heal yourself with regards to this, namely to recall the feeling of being relaxed about money from a time in your life from the past, and the more you get into the feeling, the more you will heal your body.
