If possible, let yourself say something to somebody you care about or used to care about: a partner, friend, family member, colleague or boss.
If the other person hurt you and they never acknowledged it or said sorry, you’re unlikely to forgive and forget. Especially if there is still some vague and seemingly insignificant contact between you.
Communicate your feelings. Honor them. You owe it to yourself.
